Butterfly Smile

This is beautiful. I love the gentle, subtle smile, and the way the darkness on her right side makes the glimmer in her left eye seem almost melancholy. Not sad at all, but just... perhaps not quite there, but rather in a faraway place. Also a great fan of the "melting into butterflies" effect, well-executed indeed!! And can I just add - I'm glad that you didn't make perfectly round "cutesie" butterflies out of them... It wouldn't have fit the mood at all. The sketchy, edgy quality really gives a sense for the implied darkness of the piece. Thumbs up from me as per usual x
